Material on this site is subject to copyright protection unless otherwise indicated.  The contents of this website cannot be used in any misleading or objectionable context.  Direct downloading of Standards/IS Approval Notification/Specifications by registered users will automatically lead to acceptance of terms and conditions mentioned below.  Violation, if any, of below condition shall be the sole responsibility of the registered user himself/herself and this Directorate shall in no way be responsible for such as act or attempt whatsoever:-

    1. No one is authorized to distribute or forward a copy (electronic or otherwise) of any article, standard, specification, file or material obtained from the Directorate of Standardisation website.

    2. No one is authorized to reproduce or photocopy any standard, article, specification, file or material downloaded from http://www.defstand.gov.in.

    3. No one is authorized alter, modify, adapt or translate any standard or content from the standard, specification, article, file or material obtained from http://www.defstand.gov.in

    4. No one is authorized to systematically download the standards, archiving or storing these standards on any local or wide area network.

    5. Use of standards downloaded from http://www.defstand.gov.in for commercial purposes by Registered Users is not allowed.  Bulk reproduction or distribution of standards is also not allowed in any form.

Directorate of Standardisation is not responsible for the contents and reliability of the linked websites and does not necessarily endorse the views expressed in them. Mere presence of the link or its listing on this website is not to be assumed as endorsement of any kind. We cannot guarantee that these links will work all the time and we have no control over availability of linked pages.

  2. We do not object to your linking directly to the information that is hosted on our site and no prior permission is required for the same. However, we would like user's to inform us about the links provided to our site so that user's can be informed of any changes or updations therein.
